SUBPART 1951-CROP WHEAT LOAN AND
PURCHASE AGREEMENT PROGRAM

A price support program has been an nounced for the 1951 crop of wheat. The 1951 C. C. C. Grain Price Support Bulle tin 1 16 P. R. 1987, issued by the Commodity Credit Corporation and con taining the general requirements with respect to price support operations for grains and related commodities produced in 1951, is supplemented as follows:

601.1211 Purpose. Sections 601.1211
to 601.1220 state additional specific re quirements which, together with the general requirements contained in the 1951 C. C. C. Grain Price Support Bulle tin 1 16 P. R. 1987 apply to loans and purchase agreements under the 1951Crop Wheat Price Support Program.
601.1212 Availability of price sup porta Method of support. Price support will be made available through
farm-storage and warehouse-storage loans and through purchase agreements.
b Area. Farm-storage and ware house-storage loans and purchase agree ments will be available wherever wheat is grown in the continental United States except that farm-storage loans will not be available in areas where the PMA
State committee determines that wheat cannot be safely stored on the farm.
c Where to apply. Application for price support should be made at the office of the PMA county committee which keeps the farm-program records for the farm.
d When to apply. Loans and pur chase agreements will be available from the time of harvest through January 31, 1952, and the applicable documents must be signed by the producer and delivered to the county committee not later than such date.
e Eligible producer. An eligible pro ducer shall be an individual, partner ship, association, corporation, or other legal entity producing wheat in 1951 as landowner, landlord, tenant or share cropper.
601.1213 Eligible wheat. At the time the wheat is placed under loan or delivered under a purchase agreement, it must meet the following require ments :
a The wheat must have been pro duced in the continental United States in 1951 by an eligible producer.
b The beneficial interest in the whealt must be in the person tendering the wheat for loan or for delivery under a purchase agreement, and must al ways have been in him, or must have been in him and a former producer whom he succeeded before the wheat was harvested.
c Such wheat must be:
1 Wheat of any class grading No. 3
or better; or 2 Wheat of any class grading No.
4 or 5 on the factor of test weight and/or because of containing Durum and/or Red Durum but otherwise grading No. 3 or better. If the wheat Continued on next page
