Consummation of transfers necessi tated by Farmers Home Administration Act of 1946, and Public Law 249, 80th Congress.
Pursuant to authority contained in the Farmers Home Administration Act of 1946 60 Stat. 1062, in Public Law No. 249, 80th, Congress, approved July 26,1947, and in R. S. 161 5 . 6. C. 22, It is hereby ordered, That:
Effective October 30,1947, the authori ties, powers, functions, and duties vested in the Secretary of Agriculture by Public Law 249, 80th Congress, insofar as said law extends the provisions of the Bankhead-Jones Farm Tenant Act, as amended, to the Virgin Islands, are hereby transferred to the Farmers Home Administration, to be exercised by the Administrator thereof in accordance with the provisions of the order of Con summation of Transfers Necessitated by the Farmers Home Administration Act f 1946, and Provision for Certain In terim Authorities issued by the Secre tary of Agriculture on October 14, 1946
