Determination of sugar commercially recoverable from sugarcane inPuerto Rico for the 1943-44 crop year, pursuant to the Sugar Act of 1937, as amended.
Pursuant to the provisions of section 302 a of the Sugar Act of 1937, as amended, and Executive Order No. 9322, issued March 26, 1943, as amended by Executive Order No. 9334, issued April 19, 1943, the following,, determination is hereby issued:
802.41f a Sugar commercially re coverable from sugarcane in Puerto Rico.
The amount of sugar commercially re coverable from the sugarcane grown on a farm in Puerto Rico and marketed or processed by the producer for the ex traction of sugar shall be obtained by multiplying the number of short tons of such sugarcane by the number of hundredweights of sugar raw value com mercially recoverable per ton of such sugarcane computed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the deter mination of fair and reasonable prices for the 1943-44 crop of Puerto Rican sugarcane pursuant to the Sugar Act of 1937, as amended, and the quantity of 96 sugar thereby obtained shall be con verted to raw value basis in accordance with the provisions of Title I of the Sugar Act of 1937, as amended.

1202.401 Purpose of this supple mentary o r d e r . This supplementary order explains the procedure to be fol lowed in distributing new pressure can ners from manufacturers to retail outlets and it also sets forth%
the requirements of the rationing program which are of spe cial importance to persons desiring such equipment. This supplementary order should be read in conjunction with Food Production Order No. 14 which estab lishes the general rationing program and which contains definitions of certain terms used herein.
